Dr. Mark Halsey chose his career as a path to serving the members of his community. Twice a month, he travels to Manhattan to volunteer at Bellevue Hospital Center, offering his unique expertise as a double board-certified dermatologist in general and pediatric dermatology. He is one of only roughly 300 fellowship-trained board-certified pediatric dermatologists in the entire United States, with his pediatric training occurring at arguably two of the most respected hospitals in the world, Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. His volunteer clinics in NYC allow him to teach dermatology and pediatrics residents at NYU, and share his unique training and skillset with the community, including children in need who may be otherwise unable to access care.
