Hives

Hives are a common itchy rash that can come and go for weeks. The sudden appearance of hives, and the substantial amount of itch can be striking. Patients with hives are often managed with antihistamines, under the care of a dermatologist, allergist, or primary care physician. Testing can be advisable in certain cases which persist for many weeks, or when environmental triggers are suspected.
