Hair Loss

World class treatment of male and female pattern hair loss

Dr. Mark Halsey, MD has the latest technology to offer platelet rich plasma to treat male and female pattern hair loss from the comfort of his office

His approach is patient centered. Rather than have a vision for how every patient's skin should be, he patiently collects information on the cosmetic interests and desires of each patient and formulates a custom plan and skin care regimen for each patient. He prefers subtlety and nuance to enhance the skin to provide a well-rested and youthful look, and tends to discourage patients from any procedure or treatment that would look overdone.

During residency, he received additional training in cosmetic dermatology, participating in the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery's Preceptorship Program under the supervision of world-renowned dermatologist, Dr. Thomas Rohrer, MD of SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill. Dr. Halsey has extensive experience in using all brands of neurotoxins to address facial wrinkles. For deeper wrinkles, sagging skin, flattened lips, and other forms of volume loss, Dr. Halsey is an expert in the use of facial fillers, including all brands of hyaluronic acids. At a cosmetic consultation appointment, Dr. Halsey listens to each patient's cosmetic concerns and offers suggestions as to which products would work best for the desired result. His office purchases only authentic products directly from the manufacturer's offical US representative, never any knock-offs or imports.

Dr. Halsey's approaches are minimally invasive, but he understands that some patients require more extensive treatments. When appropriate, he refers patients to local plastic surgeons, and remains actively engaged in their care.
